Truth is... short and simple

Truth is ... I sure know why my Mom stripped to bra and panties and lay of the floor. Boy was I sure embarrassed - by now ... I know better.

Truth is ... I am grateful for my new job and very happy at it. My legs are tired - but that is coming along.

Truth is ... My Art journalling class was fun last night. I painted over my journalling and did pastel over it all.

Your mom stripped and lay on the floor? Was it a striptease kinda thing? Or was she just hot and tired? A hot flash maybe? I'm curious.

Love,
Janie

I am so happy you found a job. I understand the exhaustion. Hang in there and make sure you're gentle with yourself when you are not working. 30 minute hot baths with Epson Salts and aromatherapy oils do wonders for the soul.

Love your pastel drawing and your spirit. It's so easy to let life get you down - the only antidote is to celebrate, with thankfulness, the good things! Happy PPF

I love your journal page! I especially love the idea of journaling and then covering it up. Thoughts poured out and then wrapped up somehow, finished, complete. Very nice.

Congratulations on the new job! I hope your legs start feeling better soon.

Pastels give such a soft, dreamy feel to your journal page. I have to admit I 'm very curious about your mom, too. :) Congratulations on your new job.
